2. QC Function (RJ45 Connector Crimping Test)

This function helps verify the quality of RJ45 connector crimps.

  1. Connect the RJ45 cable to the main unit's RJ45 port. The remote unit is not needed for this test.
  2. Slide the power switch to the "QC" position.
  3. Press the RJ45 connector firmly into the port. The tester will analyze the connection.

3. PoE Test

The NF-468S can identify Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices and detect PoE standards.

  1. Connect the network cable from the PoE source (e.g., PoE switch) to the "PoE" port on the main unit. The remote unit is not required.
  2. Slide the power switch to the "TEST" position.
  3. Observe the PoE result indicators (D1-D4) and the PoE power supply type indicators.
