   Unfold the tripod legs and extend them to your desired height. Secure the legs using the locking clamps. Place the accessory tray in the center brace of the tripod.
2. Mounting the Telescope Tube:

   Attach the telescope's optical tube assembly to the Altitude Azimuth yoke mount on top of the tripod. Ensure it is securely fastened.

   Slide the Galileo Mars' Eye Electronic Finderscope into its bracket on the telescope tube and tighten the retaining screws. Install the battery (if not pre-installed) and test its functionality.

4. Inserting the Diagonal:

5. Inserting an Eyepiece:

   Insert either the 20mm or 6mm eyepiece into the diagonal. Secure it with the thumbscrew. The 20mm eyepiece provides lower magnification and a wider field of view, useful for locating objects. The 6mm eyepiece provides higher magnification for detailed viewعمل.

Before observing, the finderscope must be aligned with the main telescope. This is best done during daylight hours.

1. Point the main telescope at a distant, stationary object (e.g., a tree or telephone pole).
2. Look through the 20mm eyepiece and center the object in the field of view.
3. Look through the finderscope. Use the adjustment screws on the finderscope bracket to move the red dot until it is centered on the same object you see in the main telescope's eyepiece.
4. Once aligned, the finderscope will help you quickly locate objects in the night sky.

To achieve a clear image, rotate the focus knob located on the focuser tube until the object appears sharp. You may need to adjust focus slightly when changing eyepieces or observing different objects.

Tracking Objects

The Altitude Azimuth mount allows for easy up-and-down and left-and-right movement. Use the slow-motion altitude adjustment rod for fine vertical adjustments to keep celestial objects in view as they drift across the sky.

Smartphone Adapter (G-SPA) Usage

The Galileo G-SPA Smartphone Adapter allows you to capture images and videos through your telescope or use your smartphone for navigation.
