- Connect the water supply line to the fill valve shank at the bottom of the tank. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn.
- Turn on the water supply slowly and check for leaks. Allow the tank to fill.

This action lifts the flush valve, allowing water to flow from the tank into the toilet bowl, initiating the flush cycle. Release the lever once the flush is complete.
