The hands will typically move to the 12 o'clock position and then begin searching for the signal. This process can take several minutes to several hours, depending on signal strength and location.

• Avoid placing the clock near metal objects or in basements, which can obstruct the signal.
• Once the signal is received, the clock will automatically set itself to the correct time, including adjusting for Daylight Saving Time (DST).
