Extend Mode allows for data and power PoE transmission over distances up to 250 meters, which is ideal for surveillance systems where devices may be located far from the switch. When Extend Mode is active, the port speed will be downgraded to 10 Mbps.

The switch incorporates a priority function to protect the system when the total PoE power consumption exceeds the budget. If the power consumption of all PoE PDs is greater than or equal to 53W, a priority will be assigned among the PoE ports (Port 1 > Port 2 > Port 3 > Port 4).
