Installation typically requires only a Phillips head screwdriver. Follow these general steps:

1. جهز الباب: Ensure your door has standard bore holes (typically 2-1/8" diameter) and a backset of either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4". The Kwikset 660 is designed for doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick.

Secure the interior assembly to the exterior assembly using the two long mounting screws. Tighten evenly to prevent binding.

القفل والفتح

• من الخارج: Insert the key into the keyway and turn it clockwise to lock the deadbolt. Turn counter-clockwise to unlock.

SmartKey Re-keying Procedure

The SmartKey Re-key Technology allows you to re-key your lock to a new Kwikset key in three simple steps:
