4.1 Attaching the Extender to Your Laptop
- Carefully unfold the monitor extender from its portable state.
- Position the extender on top of your laptop screen, ensuring the adjustable clamps securely grip the laptop's display edges without obstructing the screen.
- Adjust the integrated back stand to provide stable support for the extender and your laptop.

The Fopo S788 supports a "1 Cable for 3 Displays" setup, meaning a single full-function USB-C cable can transmit both video and power to one of the extender screens, which then daisy-chains to the other. Alternatively, you can use separate cables for video and power if your laptop does not have full-function USB-C ports.
- For Laptops with Full-Function USB-C Ports:
- Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C (Video & Power) cable to your laptop's full-function USB-C port.
- Connect the other end to one of the full-function USB-C ports on the Fopo S788 extender. This single cable should power and display content on both extender screens.
- If additional power is needed or your laptop's USB-C port is not full-function, connect the PD Power Supply to the extender's dedicated power input.
- For Laptops without Full-Function USB-C Ports (using USB-A and HDMI):
- Connect one of the USB-A to USB-C (Video & Power) cables to your laptop's USB-A port and the USB-C end to one of the extender screens for power.
- Connect an HDMI cable (not included) from your laptop's HDMI output to the HDMI input on the extender for video.
- Repeat for the second extender screen if necessary, or use the daisy-chaining feature if supported by your laptop's ports and the extender's configuration.
- Ensure the PD Power Supply is connected to the extender for stable power.
