5.1 Connecting the Tools

1. Connect the desoldering gun's vacuum hose to the 'VACUUM' port on the control unit. Secure it by twisting the connector.
2. Connect the desoldering gun's electrical connector to the 'DESOLDERING' port.
3. Connect the soldering iron's electrical connector to the 'IRON' port.
4. Place the desoldering gun and soldering iron in their respective holders.

5.2 Assembling the Desoldering Gun

The desoldering gun features an anti-clog design. To assemble or disassemble for cleaning:

1. Unscrew the front cap of the desoldering gun.
2. Carefully remove the spring, filter tube, and filter.
3. Insert the desired desoldering nozzle (0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm) onto the heating element.
4. Reassemble the filter, filter tube, spring, and cap in reverse order.
