This module is compatible with GREE air conditioners and certain OEM models such as Sharp, Trane, and Taiwan Helian. Before proceeding, ensure your air conditioner is compatible and has the necessary connector.
5.1 Identifying the Connector
- **Power Off**: Crucially, turn off the main power supply to your air conditioner unit at the circuit breaker before starting.
- **Locate Wiring Cover**: Open the wiring cover located on the right side of your air conditioner's indoor unit panel.
- **Find WiFi Connector**: Look for a gray or red wire ending in a blue plug. This is the designated WiFi connector. If you find this connector, your unit is compatible for installation.
