How do I perform a self-check on the E500 or E800 receiver?
Long press the power button for about two seconds until you hear 'Power off?'. Release the button, then immediately long press it again for three seconds until you hear the voice prompt 'Self-check'.

What do the battery indicators mean on the eSurvey E100?
Solid green indicates a battery level between 30% and 100%. Flashing green indicates a level between 10% and 30%. Flashing red indicates the battery is below 10%.

How do I calibrate the Tilt Sensor (MEMS) on my eSurvey receiver?
Ensure the receiver has a Fixed solution. In the SurPad software, go to Device Settings and enable 'Pole Tilt Correction'. Then go to the Point Survey page and follow the on-screen guide to shake the pole or walk in a straight line to initialize the sensor.
