Follow these steps to install your Dongar PRO adapter:

1. Identify the Rearview Mirror Power Source: Locate the wiring harness connected to your auto-dimming rearview mirror. This is typically found behind the mirror housing or within the overhead console.
2. Select the Correct Wiring Harness: The Dongar PRO comes with three vehicle-specific wiring harness options. Choose the harness that matches the connector type in your Toyota or Lexus vehicle.
3. Connect the Dongar PRO Adapter: Disconnect the existing wiring harness from your rearview mirror. Connect the selected Dongar PRO wiring harness in-line with the vehicle's wiring and the rearview mirror. Ensure a secure connection.

• Ignition Mode (IGN):

  In this mode, your dash cam will power on only when your vehicle's ignition is active. It will automatically power down as soon as the vehicle is turned off. This mode is suitable for recording only while driving.

• Timed Mode (T):

  This mode keeps your dash cam powered for up to 4 hours after the vehicle is turned off. It is ideal for short parking periods, such as running errands or dining. The adapter includes battery protection and will automatically power off the dash cam if a low voltage threshold is detected, preventing vehicle battery drain.

• Continuous Mode (C):

  In Continuous Mode, the dash cam remains powered continuously after the vehicle is turned off. With a healthy battery, this can provide power for up to 36 hours. Similar to Timed Mode, the adapter will automatically cut power to the dash cam if a low voltage threshold is reached to protect your vehicle's battery.
