- Collect Purified Water: Place a clean container (e.g., bottle, cup) beneath the filter's outlet. Turn the twist on-off mechanism on the filter to the 'on' position. Gravity will draw water through the filter, and purified water will flow into your container.

- Disconnect Filter: Detach the ultrafilter membrane purifier from the hose.
- Prepare Syringe: Fill the custom backwash syringe with clean, purified water.
