1. Ensure your camera is powered off before attaching or detaching any lens.
2. Remove the rear lens cap from the YN42.5MM F1.7M II lens and the body cap from your camera. Avoid touching the lens elements or the camera's sensor.
3. Align the white mounting index mark on the lens with the corresponding mark on your camera's lens mount.
